Rayleigh Caravan Site is situated within walking distance of the historic town of Rayleigh which has a number of very good restaurants, a windmill and Raleigh museum. There is a small indoor market open during the week , along with a number of small individual shops. We have a weekly market in the town centre .
The local train station goes to Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford and London all within 40 minutes , as well as a frequent bus service .
Southend boasts one of the longest piers in the country as well as nearby “Old Leigh”, which offers fresh seafood and lovely seafront walks
